What’s Inside Naked Whey?
High-quality protein – and lots of it. Although, in the case of Naked Whey, it’s not so much about what it can give you, but rather what it won’t give you that makes it special. Detailed below in our review you’ll find what we strongly believe to be important features which make Naked Whey so uniquely beneficial. To clarify, the following report is based on three weeks of testing from the team at SupplementGuard. Let’s get started.
Premium-Grade Quality Protein
When it comes to protein quality standards, Naked Whey is virtually unrivaled. Each serving of it provides its user with 25-grams of pure, undenatured and cold-processed whey protein derived from grass-fed cows out of Northern California. This way of processing ensures zero outside contamination from toxic heavy metals, synthetic additives, and chemical detergents, and also helps support naturally occurring growth factors.
Complete Amino Acid Profile
As you may already know, amino acids are widely known as the building blocks of protein. As such, the quality and quantity of amino acids in Naked Whey are equally, if not more important than the total amount of protein you ingest per serving. Metaphorically speaking, think of Amino Acids as construction materials – put them all together, in clinically effective dosages, and you get a house – or in our case, a complete protein. Take note: Naked Whey does contain the necessary EAAs required for a complete protein profile.
Only One Ingredient
We’d mentioned earlier in our review how it’s not particularly what Naked Whey has to offer, but rather what it doesn’t that counts. This is because Naked Nutrition has a mindset they dub ‘The Naked Difference’. This attitude towards ingredient formulation means their users only receive exactly what’s necessary, nothing more. But what do we mean by “nothing more”? Well, put simply, Naked Whey contains one ingredient: Pure Whey Protein Concentrate. It’s 100% free of artificial flavors, colors, GMOs, Soy, Gluten, and is produced without added growth hormones, like rGBH or rBST. It’s also made without using acid or bleach processing.
When & How do I Take It?
For optimal results, we suggest taking Naked Whey in-between meals. However, you can take it anytime you like, even before bed, as your body will ingest the nutrients either way. In terms of how to take Naked Whey, we suggest following the label’s directions. We did and found it would efficiently mix by simply adding one serving (2 scoops) to 10oz of cool water or milk. Shake for about 45 seconds in a blender cup and enjoy!
Is Naked Whey Safe?
For the majority of people, perfectly. Exceptionally moreso than most other protein powder supplements – with good reason. See, Naked Nutrition, the brand responsible for making Naked Whey, is largely known throughout the supplement industry for the measures it takes to attain the best powder qualities possible. This is evident from the consistent eclipsing of rigorous standards expected of high-quality supplements.
Additionally, Naked Whey’s nutritional values are lab-tested and verified for safe and accurate levels of consumption by an independent third party. This helps ensure it meets modern safety and purity levels.
Pros
• Full Product Transparency
• No unnecessary ingredients
• Exceptionally clean protein
• No added sugar, low in carbs
• Extensive lab-testing for purity
• Great long-term value
Cons
• Pricey
Where Can I Get It?
You can promptly get your hands on a tub of Naked Whey protein via Amazon. It’s currently offered in two different weighted sizes – 1lb or 5lbs. The 1lb (15 servings) canister costs $22 and is designed to be more of a lighter sample of the heavier $85.49 5lb (76 servings, 2.5 month supply) tub. Each tub/canister arrived filled to the brim – something not typically seen with protein supplements, which is great to see.
How Does It Taste?
We were left beyond satisfied with just how great Naked Whey performed in regards to taste. It was creamy, easy to put down, and tasted especially well despite lacking flavor enhancing ingredients. That said, we’d definitely have to rate Unflavored as our most prized flavor. Keep in mind, there are three additional flavors you can choose from, which are Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. They’re no different from the unflavored form aside from a few added organic ingredients to boost flavor.
How Well Does It Mix?
Short answer: Easily. Naked Whey was a nice break from the grit, chalk, and powder clumps all too common with cheaper protein powders. During our review we found it dissolved perfectly well in milk, whereas in water, mixing required a bit of effort. In the end, Naked Whey left us with a creamy, rich tasting foamy beverage and a desire for more each time. We definitely had an enjoyable overall experience.
The Takeaway
Overall, Naked Whey is definitely among our best experiences taking protein. We noticed some incredible lean muscle gains while supplementing with Naked Whey during our 3-week personal review. It undoubtedly earned its place in our stack for a considerable time to come. Ultimately, if you’re looking for one of the best quality protein powders without harmful ingredients and don’t mind the slightly higher price, consider trying out Naked Whey.
